On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, in celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and as part of the IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast, Egal’ITI organized a petit déjeuner at the CRBS. This warm and convivial gathering was followed by insightful presentations from Equality Referents of UMR_S 1121, Unistra, and CNRS, who shared their respective initiatives on promoting gender equality and supporting individuals facing challenging situations.
We were especially pleased to welcome Serge Covaci (Chief Resident, Department of General Medicine), who led a thought-provoking discussion on “The Feminization of Medicine: A Solution More Than a Problem.”
Overall, it was a highly engaging and constructive morning. A heartfelt thank you to all the women and men who joined us in addressing and advancing the cause of gender equality!
