The HiFunMat PhD Day aimed at gathering HiFunMat labeled PhD to promote scientific exchange and social connection between students as well as broadening their knowledge in a multidisciplinary environment. For this second edition, students attended 12 presentations of 15 minutes from 2nd and 3rd year PhD students, and 15 presentations from 1st year PhD students who briefly introduce themselves and their topic with a flash presentation. HiFunMat master students were also invited to expand their own network and witness the scientific work of PhD students. This is an event organized by HiFunMat students and for HiFunMat students. Through this approach, students acquire soft skills in conferences and events organization, which are key assets for their future careers.
