Each year 10 first year Master students and 13 second year Master students are selected from our three support Master programs to participate in the ITI HiFunMat graduate school program, and obtain the HiFunMat Diploma Supplement

Calendar & Application process

  •  31 March - 23 June | Submit your application to the ITI HiFunMat Graduate School by filling out the online application form
  •  23-24 June | Examination of application files by the Graduate School committee
  •  25 June | Candidates will be notified if their files are accepted. If yes, they are invited to an online admission interview
  •  27 June, 30 June, 01 July | Admission interviews
  •  04-18 July | You will be informed on your admission before the 18th of July

 

IMPORTANT: To apply for the HiFunMat program, you must ALSO apply to a Master program.

The HiFunMat Graduate School program serves as a diploma supplement. To enroll, it is essential to register in one of the Physics, Chemistry, or Science and Engineering programs at the University of Strasbourg or the University of Haute-Alsace. Please note that the application and selection processes for the HiFunMat Graduate School program and the Master’s degree programs are entirely separate.

Students from countries part of the Campus France list must go through the Campus France website. Other students must use Monmaster (for M1 level) or Ecandidat (for M2 level). 

Application & admission criteria

Requirements to apply to the HiFunMat program

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Physics, or Material science, or equivalent
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Admission into one of the specific tracks of the three following support Master programs

  • The quality of your academic performance
  • Your motivation to join ITI HiFunMat
  • The quality of your professional career projects

 

Required documents to issue during the application

  • Copy of passport/ID card
  • A Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Motivation letter
  • For M1 applications : Certified transcript of grades and rank, up to and including the third year first semester of the bachelor degree (L3S1)
  • For M2 applications : Certified transcript of grades and rank, up to and including the first year first semester of the Master degree (M1S1) + Bachelor of Science diploma or certificate of achievement
  • Scholarship form (download)
  • Reference letters (recommended)
  • Proof of English / French proficiency (recommended)

    Fees

    Enrollment in the HiFunMat Graduate School is free.
