Each year 10 first year Master students and 13 second year Master students are selected from our three support Master programs to participate in the ITI HiFunMat graduate school program, and obtain the HiFunMat Diploma Supplement

Application and admission criteria

Requirements to apply to the HiFunMat program

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Physics, or Material science, or equivalent
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Admission into one of the specific tracks of the three following support Master programs (M.Sc. Chemistry, Materials science and engineering, Physics)

 

Selection criteria for admission to the HiFunMat program and scholarship

  • The quality of your academic performance
  • Your motivation to join ITI HiFunMat
  • The quality of your professional career projects

 

Required documents to issue during the application

  • Copy of passport/ID card
  • A Curriculum Vitae (CV) outlining your academic track and achievements
  • For M1 applications : Certified transcript of grades and rank, up to and including the third year first semester of the bachelor degree (L3S1)
  • For M2 applications : Certified transcript of grades and rank, up to and including the first year first semester of the Master degree (M1S1) + Bachelor of Science diploma or certificate of achievement
  • Motivation letter (addressing your research interests, your qualifications as an ITI HiFunMat student, skills or qualities that make you contribute to the success of the program, your vision on what the graduate school program can offer to you and what you would like to achieve through it, … )
  • Scholarship form (download)
  • List of publications (if any)
  • Reference letters (recommended)
  • Proof of English / French proficiency (recommended)

    Application process

     Apply to one of the associated Master programs

    To be eligible to enter the HiFunMat Graduate School, you must enroll to one of the associated Master programs. For French and Europeen first year Master students, this is done via the online platform MonMaster. Second-year French and Europeen students, apply via Ecandidat (Unistra, UHA). Non-Europeen students can find all information on how to apply to a French Master program on the CampusFrance website.

     Interviews

    After examination of all application forms by the Graduate School committee, top candidates will be invited to online admission interviews in mai.

     

     Admissions

    You will be informed on your admission in the beginning of June 2024.

     

    Fees

    Enrollment in the HiFunMat Graduate School is free.
